Modesta LUPAȘCU is an associate professor specialized in GRAPHICS at FAVD, UNAGE Iasi. She was born in Iasi on October 24th, 1982 and has graduated from the “George Enescu” National University of Arts. She completed her doctoral studies in Visual Arts, as well as a Master’s program where she studied interdisciplinary artistic phenomena that connect graphics with the scientific universe. In 2022 she joined the Doctoral School of Visual Arts in Iasi. Her research focuses on the aesthetics, technology and culture of graphics in the context of contemporary artistic manifestations; so far she has summed up a prodigious research activity materialized by studies and articles published in internationally recognized databases, as well as an artistic creation that implies the coordination of artistic projects and involvement in several prestigious artistic events. Her academic activity includes coordination of academic programs and contributions to education projects. She participates in national and international exhibitions/festivals of visual arts and she’s a PhD supervisor within the Doctoral School of Visual Arts.
