Ciprian Andrei Ion

Ciprian Ion teaches musical composition and polyphony-counterpoint, and he has been a PhD supervisor since 2020. His artistic activity encompasses both interpretation (pianist, conductor) and composition. Being a member of the Union of Composers and Musicologists from Romania, he received the highest distinction in 2019 when he was awarded the Prize for vocal-instrumental work – The Rondels of the Roses, 6 lieds on the verses of Alexandru Macedonski. He has been the Dean of the Faculty of Interpretation, Composition and Theoretical Music Studies since 2020.

  • Stylistics of musical interpretation – aiming at the entire interpretive stylistic area
